About Sysmera
A Nairobi company building the systems that field programmes and operations across East Africa run on — and running them afterwards.
Sysmera Limited was founded in Nairobi in February 2025 by the team that built the OriginTrace platforms for CIRAD’s coffee programmes in Rwanda and Ethiopia. We build systems for the first mile, where the data is collected by a field officer on a hillside and has to be right the first time. Along the way our team also ran the technology of international offices in Nairobi, which is why everything we build comes with its operation attached.

Fifteen years across public-sector ICT, network engineering and regional IT leadership; led the OriginTrace platforms in Rwanda and Ethiopia and the Kenya tea mapping work. Project Management Professional (PMP). Engineers, GIS analysts, field supervisors and partner specialists are engaged per programme.
